Enterasys Networks Signs Global Agreement with Baxter Planning Systems, Inc.

High technology leader seeks to extend cost savings and customer loyalty worldwide

Austin, TX- May 27, 2003 --Baxter Planning Systems, Inc., a fast growing developer of supply chain planning services and applications, announced today that the company has signed an agreement to implement service and spare parts planning solutions world-wide for Enterasys Networks, a global provider of Business-Driven Networks™ for enterprise customers.

"For over three years, Enterasys has been using Prophet by Baxter™, a web-based service supply chain planning solution, for planning and execution of replenishment and rebalancing orders for North American UPS SCS field stocking locations," said Greg Baxter, President and CEO of Baxter Planning Systems. The new agreement extends the planning and automated replenishment and rebalancing to all regions of the world, while also extending the solution to include Distribution Center planning and the automation of repair orders and procurement orders. The repair order forecasting process will include automatic execution of the UPS SCS iARS solution which will significantly shorten the repair process cycle time.
