APICS Announces Baxter Planning Systems Executive As A Certified Supply Chain Professional!

APICS - The Association for Operations Management recently announced that 508 operations and supply chain professionals have been awarded the first APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation.

Austin, Texas - July 24, 2006 - Baxter Planning Systems (www.bybaxter.com), the premier provider of aftermarket parts planning solutions, today announced that Kris Anderson, Senior Business Planning Consultant for Baxter has been named as an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). Anderson is the only service parts planning executive on the list.

The recently launched APICS CSCP program develops supply chain leaders who create and execute supply chain strategies that align with corporate strategy and at the same time meets customer needs, reduces costs, and increases profits.

Anderson has spent two-and-a-half years with Baxter Planning Systems and has 18 years of Service Parts Planning/Logistics/Supply Chain experience, while serving in various roles with Hewlett-Packard Company. In addition, Anderson is a retired Commander of the United States Navy Reserve, for whom he devoted 19 years of combined active duty and reserve time. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.
