Baxter Planning Systems Adds Vice President of Sales and Marketing
AUSTIN, TX -- (October 15, 2000) - Baxter Planning Systems announced
that Bryan Scott, a 17-year veteran of the applications software sales industry,
has been named vice president of sales and marketing.
In his new position, Scott will be responsible for creating market awareness
for Baxter Planning Systems and their core product Prophet by Baxter(TM). He
will be charged with building Baxter into a world-class sales organization
and positioning the new and improved Prophet as the leading solution for high-availability
products and service parts planning.
Prior to joining Baxter, Scott served in various sales and management positions,
as well as vice president of sales and marketing in applications software sales.
He has nine years of experience in the supply chain planning field and is credited
with helping to grow a supply chain company more than 900 percent in three
years.
