Asset and Inventory Management records and tracks key asset information
by the asset's part number and serial number to provide instant visibility
to the status of your assets worldwide.
This valuable information is used to forecast part demand and determine
repair/return schedules using usage, repair, refurbish, and inspection
history. The result is less inventory and associated costs, while
still maintaining or elevating customer service levels.
Updates to material movement and other information are recorded
through the use of validated transactions. The primary transactions
are those that ship and receive material, but all transactions are
interpreted by the transaction processor into information you can
use for planning inventory; demand, usage, defective returns, scrap,
and repairs.
A series of reports can be viewed online, downloaded, or sent via
email. In addition, a report writer is available for custom reports,
and the system supports customer-defined flex fields that can be
added to the reporting database.
